The three of them occupied a long, empty able, and in their immediate background was a gigantic but muted reproduction of Rembrandt’s The Last Supper. It was so big that the people in the painting were life-sized. The three central figures of Jesus, John, and Judas were cutout of the painting and their positions were occupied, in real life, by Sylvester, Jessica, and Pablo.
