Liz Fyne has degrees in biology and neuroscience. After decades working bare-sleeved in freezing biocontainment hoods, she transitioned to the relative comforts of program administration and writing fiction.

One of her unpublished literary novels was long-listed for the 2022 Santa Fe Writers Project Literary Award.
